My last destination of that trip was to the place where Jackie Chan’s was born, Hong Kong, where of course, the popular Hong Kong style noodles have originated and incidentally, my favorite kind of noodles. I came across this kind of noodle way back when I was a kid and when I got older… I made it a point that at least, once a week, I would be able to eat Hong Kong style noodles. I really love the combination of chicken and noodles, cooked in chicken stock soup, topped with shitake mushrooms, peas, mung bean sprouts and some onions. In my visit to Hong Kong, I was able to see it first hand, how a native would prepare it and I was really thrilled to have a taste of Hong Kong, just before I prepared my long trip back home to the west. The trip was really worth the time and effort and I would surely want to do it again in the future.
