It is no secret that seasalt, if taken too much, would cause a whole lot of imbalance in our body, most specifically to our blood. It has been well documented that we cannot take more than six grams of salt per day or it would cause us to have high blood pressure that can result to heart attacks. There are, however, low sodium recipes that you can go for to make sure that you will not have any problems in your blood, as well as your kidneys and gallbladder. If you are in to vegetables, you would definitely love the Ruby Red Layered Salad, which is a perfect dish for all those people under low sodium diet. All you need are 3 ounce of raspberry flavored gelatin mix, 2 cups of boiling water, 10 ounce of frozen raspberries, 1 pint sour cream, 3 ounce of cherry flavored gelatin, 8 ounce of crushed pineapple, drained, and 16 ounce of whole cranberry sauce. To start, dissolve the raspberry gelatin in 1 cup of hot water, add the frozen raspberries and stir until it is well mixed. Next, pour it in to a glass bowl, refrigerate for about 30 to 60 minutes. Then, spread sour cream over the firm gelatin and refrigerate again. Dissolve the cherry gelatin in 1 cup of hot water, stir in the crushed pineapple and cranberry sauce, then chill for about 20 to 40 minutes. Lastly, spoon the cherry gelatin mixture over sour cream layer and chill for another hour or two.
